About this deal

FINALLY, a proper, widely-available, well-designed, well-functioning N64 controller with an Analog stick that is precise and isn't overly-sensitive! The Retro Fighters Brawler64 Gamepad showcases a two handle design and features responsive buttons, D-pad and a comfortable analog stick. Once I stumbled across the Kickstarter for this new Bluetooth NSO version I just had to finally give in. I haven't had this much fun playing my retro consoles in years, retro fighters is a must have for any retro gamer!

I can get used to that, but I think it could be better if the A/B buttons had a different texture in this format so it’s easier to tell them apart by feel. These securily keeps the dongles from sagging down possibly causing issues with your Nintendo 64 controllers ports over time.It works flawlessly with NSO N64 games, correct button mapping, access to the suspend menu, home menu, etc. The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is lack of N64 expansion compatibility and rumble features. I do find on my PC that Retoarch is not easy to set up with different controllers for different cores.

With a wireless range of 30+ feet and a battery life of 10+ hours per charge, you’ll be pulling all-nighters! Very impressed with the product equally impressed with how quick i got my controller from stone age, so well done there. Brawler 64 uses a similar stick that the GameCube had, which is pretty much the best standard for Nintendo sticks out there. The biggest star is the show however goes to the analogue stick , it’s ultra smooth , no dead zone at all, highly accurate, moving it in any direction in tiny increments is no problem at all, this goes far and above the original stick.

I am happy to see that there is a modern take on the awkwardly designed N64 controller, but the real selling point here is the wireless capability. There’s nothing wrong in its shape or function, but the software running the controller does not support the Transfer Pack. The only thing I can think of that would improve this controller was if the transfer pak could be supported on a revised v3. I really, really hope you guys become big like 8Bitdo and Hyperkin so that we can see what other stuff you guys put out in the coming years, and so we can have a reliable source of good controllers in the future. Each button is very responsive (especially the joystick) and the ergonomic design of the controller fits very comfortably in my hands.
