About this deal

Her own method of managing money is to hide her Visa bills under the bed and hope they’ll disappear. Her crazy schemes to make extra money, like homemade potholders to sell but never following thru on is a page out of my life.

Até que os seus vizinhos ficam numa situação financeiramente má por um conselho de Rebecca e ela revela ter um pouco de cérebro. It reminds of humans I know, who choose to lead the most dramatic, self indulged, objectified, diva lifestyle. Sophie Kinsella has a gift for comedy and her books are my go-to when I need something light to read to cheer me up.That is, until Luke announces he’s moving to New York for business—and he asks Becky to go with him!

The thing is, for me, the story went about for too long before I managed to see anything other than the bling-bling obsessed Rebecca.

All used books might have various degrees of writing, highliting and wear and tear and possibly be an ex-library with the usual stickers and stamps. Every time she tries to stop spending, she winds up needing a little pick me up as she gets down in the dumps—a feeling many can relate to.

Fun and wittily told, I found myself rooting for Rebecca and wondering just how she was so blind to romance. Fans of the series who love Becky just as she is (and has always been) will enjoy this seventh series entry. best friends, copious amounts of champagne drinking and a fantastic ending that will leave you smiling. Ms Kinsella manages to draw fun out of Rebecca's situation and the romantic element, whilst entirely predictable, is light and enjoyable. From introducing herself to the bank manager that she has spent months avoiding by accident, to getting caught looking at her dates cheque book, it all seems totally outlandish and extreme but is hilarious none the less.It has to be said and there’s no nice way to say it: Rebecca, the protagonist of this book, is shallow and a fluff-head (as her head is always full of recently bought clothes, it couldn’t be otherwise).

Sophie wrote her first novel under her real name, Madeleine Wickham, at the tender age of 24, whilst she was working as a financial journalist.Used books have different signs of use and might not include supplemental materials such as CDs, Dvds, Access Codes, charts or any other extra material.
